Music.

  All of this music was put out by me over the last 13 years, I'll just post a few links up here. I flirted with a few styles... It was all recorded at home after I decided I diddn't want to be in bands anymore. Some of it got radio play, some of it got some interest early on, then after MySpace died so did anyone giving a monkeys really, yet I carried on, sucker for punishment that I am.  Download via Bandcamp where you can either pay what you like, or else free to download via the links,  just type in Zero.

 

 ALBUMS.

 This is an acoustic album I recorded a while ago it's all acoustic, just me and a guitar and a 4 track in the kitchen. It's called "Peepshow". 

This is a three track spoken word EP that ran out of steam, it starts with a instrumental.... The second track was meant to accompany a video, the third was meant to be a collaboration that never happened.

This is an Electronic dance type album I recorded after getting fed up with being in bands. It's not my type of music really, but it was so much fun discovering about VST's, MIDI and drum machines after being a thick guitarist who's only technical knowledge involved how to switch on a amp. In hindsight I don't like how programmed it sounds. It was all done on a laptop.


This is my second Electronic dance type EP, recorded quite a few years after Surf Prophets... All recorded onto a 4 track tape portastudio, no samples, no grids, only used old naff drum machines etc... various childrens keyboards used, I liked this direction a lot more. Wished I carried on a little more with this, was almost hypnotic doing some of this stuff. Made me realise how much I detest the predictability of computors  for making music.



Most of the music I put out over the last 13 years was as Broken Mono. Here's the last album I did. This is all guitar based rock. I have loads more music as Broken Mono up on Bandcamp.

This is a video I made for one of the songs I wrote in Lockdown, I became a little  bit... well a LOT more politicised than I like to be... And not really the kind of music I play too much, I find its best to ignore politics, the media etc.
