Supernova

Look into the space to the left of you.
Step into that space.
And look back into the space you once occupied,
The air you have displaced
Has left a echo that has reached the stars.
We are astronauts of infinite joy,
Our end has no barrier.
Our sorrows are our markers,
The supernovas of our demise.
Tread lightly, do not disturb
The space dust between your toes.
A space sailor testing time
Your future mind steps inside this ship.
Put your space suit on
And stretch decay,
Out of shape,
Make it one.
Were the setting sun
And your supernova smile,
Burns into my retina.
A photo bends into your shape,
It tests my mind,
And runs it at it's own race.
It turns my thoughts alive,
They orbit you like satellites.
